CCA is seeking past and present students to participate in our upcoming Holiday Show & Sale during the Navajo Street Art District First Friday Art Walk on December 4, 2015 from 6-9 pm.
Dates of note:
- Monday, Nov 9: Confirm participation and approximate number of pieces
- Sunday, Nov 15: Image submission deadline for images to be used in publicising event
- Monday, Nov 23, 6 pm: Last day to drop-off jewelry/artwork for inclusion in the show
- Friday, Dec 4: Holiday Show & Sale from 6-9 pm
Conditions of Entry:
All past and present students of CCA are welcome to participate. Participants are welcome to show just a few pieces (2 or 3), or up to 15, depending on space available.
Fees:
There is no fee for participation. Work is not required to be for sale. The gallery commission on sales will be 30% (70% to the artist). CCA will process sales and submit applicable taxes, so participants need not have a sales tax license. Participants are encouraged to attend the event and asked to bring an appetizer to share.
Images:
Image submission are not mandatory, however, it helps you and the gallery as images of your wonderful work will help us spread the word about the show. Please submit images of the actual pieces you will be displaying (or work that is similar) along with your name as you would like it published to info@clearcreekacademy.com by Sunday, Nov 15. Please note that not all submitted images are guaranteed to be used in advertising, but we’ll use as many as we can on social media and in our newsletter and event invites. Note: The better your images are, the more likely they are to be used in advertising the event.
Display:
CCA has a limited number of jewelry display fixtures. Anyone who can provide their own displays is asked to do so. Participants can provide business cards for their jewelry business, if applicable.
