Materials needed for the 2-day workshop:
- travel size spray bottle for distilled water
- protective mask and goggles
- protective thin latex gloves
- scissors to cut sandpaper
- scotch tape
- small flathead screwdriver
- Small metal or plastic bowl for mixing clay
- apron & water bottle (optional)
- textures (anything you like the texture of) including, but not limited to: rubber stamps, leaves, twigs, buttons, beads, & molds (optional)
- a warming plate (candle or coffee mug warmer)(optional)
Metal clay tools and finishing tools will be provided for use in class, or for purchase ($12 each, for clay tool kit & finishing tool kit). If you prefer to bring tools you already have, you are welcome to do so.

- drum mandrel with sanding drum
- 3M wet/dry sandpaper
- 220 and 400 grit Radial discs, yellow, 80 grit
- screw mandrel
- 2 Slotted mandrels
- extra-fine mini fiber wheel

Hadar’s powdered metal clay:
- 50 grams each, friendly copper & friendly bronze, $33
- one fire sampler kit, steel, copper, bronze, $49

- olive oil (with container & sponge)
- Baldwin’s patina
- Super Blue patina
- Q-tips
- warming plates
- plastic wrap
- clay mixing bowls & knives
- clay rollers & rolling surfaces
- sealant
- activated carbon & containers for firing
